Will this affect Acumatica Modern UI?
No. Modern UI is not expected to be affected by this browser change, because it does not rely on XSLT in the way some Classic UI screens do. Modern UI is also already expected to become the required user interface in Acumatica 2026 R2.
What if I am running an older version of Acumatica?
If you are on Acumatica 2025 R1 or earlier, plan an upgrade to Acumatica 2026 R1 and prepare for Modern UI adoption. Review any customizations as part of that planning so they remain compatible.
Is the third-party Chrome extension safe to use?
The extension some community members have used to restore XSLT functionality has not been validated by Acumatica, and compatibility is not guaranteed. Treat the extension as a temporary option only and have your IT and security teams review and approve it before any deployment.
How much time do I have to prepare?
The browser change takes effect November 17, 2026, so there is still time to prepare. Because upgrades and customization reviews can take planning, we recommend beginning discussions in the coming months rather than waiting for the deadline to approach.
